Broken Arrow Public Schools to provide free summer meals to children

Broken Arrow Public Schools is participating in a summer feeding program that provides free meals to children age 18 and younger at various Broken Arrow school sites and locations. Students are required to eat on-site. USDA does not allow parents to pickup meals for children.

All meals meet U.S. Department of Agriculture guidelines and are prepared with a number of locally-sourced ingredients.

Meals are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of meal service. The USDA restricts adults from eating from a child’s plate, but parents/caregivers may purchase a meal for $4.50 at the school sites only. Menus are subject to change.

Rhoades Elementary

• 320 E. Midway, Broken Arrow, OK 74012
• Dates of Service: June 5 to July 27 (Monday - Thursday)
• CLOSED:  FRIDAYS, WEEKENDS, JULY 3 and JULY 4
• Breakfast served from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. Lunch served from noon to 12:30 p.m.

Timber Ridge Elementary

• 3500 E. Kenosha Street, Broken Arrow, OK 74014
• Dates of Service: June 5 to July 27 (Monday - Thursday)
• CLOSED:  FRIDAYS, WEEKENDS, JULY 3 and JULY 4
• Breakfast served from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. Lunch served from noon to 12:30 p.m.

Sequoyah Middle School

• 2701 S. Elm Place, Broken Arrow, OK  74012
• Dates of Service: June 5 to June 29 (Tuesday and Thursday only)
• Dates of Service: July 5 to July 27 (Monday through Thursday)
• CLOSED:  FRIDAY, WEEKENDS
• Breakfast served from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Lunch served from noon to 12:30 p.m.

Broken Arrow High School

• 1901 E. Albany, Broken Arrow, OK 74012
• Dates of Service: June 5 to July 27 (Monday - Thursday)
• CLOSED:  FRIDAYS, WEEKENDS, JULY 3 and JULY 4
• Breakfast served from 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. Lunch served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Indian Springs Apartments

• 2177 W. Jasper, Broken Arrow, OK 74011
• Date of Service: June 5 to July 27 (Monday - Thursday)
• CLOSED:  FRIDAYS, WEEKENDS, JULY 3 and JULY 4
• Lunch served from 12:45 p.m. to 1:05 p.m.

Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club
