1.February is Healthy Heart Awareness Month- The heart pumps oxygen and blood to your brain. Take care of your heart so you can learn more.
2.Empty Bowls Project- According to a report by Feeding America, 17.2 percent of people in Oklahoma suffer from food insecurity, support the Empty Bowls Project on Feb.26th, The event is only $10 and includes a Soup Dinner! See Nurse Waits for more information.
3.Students, hopefully by now you have had a chance to see the “No Zero Hero” wall next to the steps!! These are students who had NO ZEROS for the first quarter! We’ll be posting names each quarter this year and REWARDING the students who work hard to have no zeros. We would LOVE for each of your names to be posted…you are hereby CHALLENGED! 5.A Tigette Clinic will be held March 25th -28th at Centennial MS with auditions taking place on the 29th. Anyone that is interested must have their parents or guardians attend a mandatory meeting on March 4th in the Varsity Club at the Athletic Building on the High School campus.
