Virtual Academy Overview
The Broken Arrow Virtual Academy serves students in grades Pre-K through 12 and brings online learning home by providing students the ability to receive their education on a virtual format while also receiving assistance from certified, highly qualified Broken Arrow teachers. This is an ideal option for students who prefer a smaller learning environment, one-on-one communication with teachers, and the ability to choose when and where they work on their courses.
The Virtual Academy program allows students to enroll in multiple ways.
- Full-time: Students in grades PreK-12 can complete 100% of their coursework online.
- Blended Enrollment: Students in grades 6-12 can enroll in the Virtual Academy and still participate in an elective course at their school site, which may include fine arts or athletics.
- Summer classes: High school students can participate in credit recovery or credit advancement during the summer months.
If students need face-to-face instruction or computer support, the Virtual Academy is located at 412 S. 9th St. School site hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Parents interested in this program can meet with their child’s school site counselor or contact the Virtual Academy for more information.
