1.Sports Eye Safety Awareness – Sports cause more than 4,000 injuries each year, with baseball and basketball causing the most eye injuries.
2.Attention Singers, Dancers, Actors, and Musicians- Talent show auditions will next Wednesday, April 24th after school in the drama room. If you are singing, please bring full printed lyrics for approval as well as sheet music or recorded accompaniment. You must be able to attend after school rehearsal on Thursday, May 2nd in order to be in the show. Please see Ms. Hogan for more details!
3.Broken Arrow High School Varsity Girls’ basketball staff is hosting a free basketball clinic for Broken Arrow Public School girls in the 5th & 6th grades, April 16th and April 18th from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. The clinics will be held at the Broken Arrow High School Fieldhouse. Students will need a waiver filled out and signed by parents to participate in the clinic. Come dressed to participate. If you are interested, please pick up a form in the front offices.
4.7th graders wishing to participate in football next year will have mandatory workouts at Oliver Middle School Monday May 13 through May 17. Students will catch the athletic shuttle to Oliver and will need to have a ride home from Oliver by 5:30. Students must also have a current 2018-2019 physical in order to participate. Athletic shorts, t-shirt, cleats and padded girdle is needed. Students that do not have a physical and or wanting to can get one that will be good for the 2019-2020 school year can do so at the BAHS Fieldhouse from 5:30-8:00, May 2nd. Cost for physical is $25.
5.OMS Tigettes Shuttle is Route #158- pick up at 3:20 and drop at BAFA. Then at BAFA RTE #301 will pick them up.
6.There will be no Chess Club after school today.
