Academic Words of the Week

Behavior Incentive

Students that receive zero referrals from Monday, February 17 through Friday, February 28 will have the opportunity to participate in a Dodgeball Tournament on Friday, March 13 during Tiger Advisory and 1st hour.  The winning student team will play a team of teachers in the last game.

 

Cheer/Color Guard/Tigette Try-Out Information

If you are interested in trying out for next year’s cheer squad, color guard or Tigettes, please pick up a flyer in the main office.

Media Center News

The Spring Book Fair will begin on Friday, February 28 and run through Friday, March 6.  Also, make sure you invite mom and dad to Pastries with Parents on the morning of Wednesday, March 4.

 

Move for Hunger Food Drive

This year the food drive benefitting Broken Arrow Neighbors will take place the week before Spring Break, March 2-6.  Middle school students are asked to bring the following to help support families in our community.

  • Manwich
  • Mac & Cheese
  • SpaghettiO’s
  • Ravioli
  • Stew
  • Spaghetti Sauce

 

PTA Skate Night

Join your friends and SMS teachers at Broken Arrow Roller Sports next Tuesday, March 3 from 6:30-8:30 pm.  The cost is $2 plus skate rental fee. The Tiger Advisory class with the highest percentage of students in attendance will earn a donut party.
