Digital Learning with Chromebook Devices
Broken Arrow Public Schools uses the latest technology to enhance student learning, student engagement and student achievement. The student device learning program provides students in grades 6-12 with a personal Chromebook device to explore and utilize educational resources both inside and outside the classroom – from accessing class content and textbooks online to communicating and collaborating with classmates and teachers. With a device, students have the best teacher-facilitated instruction combined with the best technology at their fingertips.
The Clever portal is a single sign-on platform used to store digital resources. In the portal, teachers create digital classrooms where students stay connected and engaged with learning. Each student has an account in this portal.
Canvas is a course management system that supports online learning and teaching. It allows teachers to post grades, information and assignments online.
