Special Education

Broken Arrow special education teachers are communicating with parents and students to discuss distance learning education for each student related to their IEP goals and with their unique needs in mind. Distance learning will be provided through multiple formats, such as video conference, learning menus and Canvas. Teachers will also continue to support students through help with curriculum, ongoing contact, provision of tools and resources, and transition activities. Throughout the remainder of the year, special education staff will remain in contact with their students as well as continue to hold annual IEP meetings and reevaluations.

If you have any questions or concerns about your child’s distance learning plan, please contact your child’s teacher, your building principal or special education staff. For those without internet access, teachers will send work to be printed and made available for parent pick up. For details, please talk with your child’s teacher.
