2021 Summer Event

Virtual Summer Book Group - This group will be reading and discussing "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Families" by Stephen Covey. There are two discussion group options for parents/guardians to chose from each Tuesday in June. One will be at 12 p.m. and the other will be at 7 p.m. Zoom information and the reading plan will be provided to all who register. The first 50 people who register will get a free book. September 2020 - This newsletter contains vital information to equip parents and caregivers with the knowledge and skills they need to help prevent suicide among young people. 

October 2020 - This newsletter highlights the supports and services available to students and families in Broken Arrow Public Schools through our school counselors and our school-based community mental health agency partners.

November 2020 - This newsletter contains information on how families can make mealtimes a meaningful and fun time of learning and connection.

February 2021 - This newsletter highlights ways you can help your children cope with feelings related to current events, challenges to guide you in spreading kindness and taking care of yourself, information about teen dating violence, and much more. Check it out!

March 2021 - This newsletter contains information on the impact of stress and ways to cope. There are lots of practical strategies for children, youth and adults to try!

April 2021 - In this newsletter there are tips for how to talk to your children about important and sensitive topics such as substance abuse, current events and more.

May 2021 - This newsletter contains tips to help your child have a strong and successful finish to the school year as well as strategies for practicing gratitude.
