Add & Multiply Sports

6 interns; full year internship; afternoon placement; 2+ class periods per day

Add & Multiply Sports is a performance/training center offering nutritional consultations in addition to athletic training and conditioning. Internship positions include sales, entrepreneurship, personal training, and social media/marketing.


APS Fire Company

Looking for 1-3 interns; 16+ years old; afternoon placement; 2 class periods per day

This internship provides one of two career pathways in the fire protection systems field of work. Students can either work as a Portables Tech, which would involve working in their shop, going on ride alongs, learning to recharge extinguishers, as well as studying and testing for their Portables License. Upon graduation, students would have the option to move to Tulsa, OKC, or NW Oklahoma as Portables Tech.

There is also an option to take the Fitter Path. Junior/Senior year, students work in Tulsa area on water based jobs as a helper. Upon graduation, students have the option to move to Tulsa or OKC to continue to train towards becoming a licensed Fitter. The Sprinkler Fitter path is more physically demanding, due to hanging pipe and working with hands above head for extended amounts of time.

Students must possess a valid drivers license, have their own transportation, and pass a drug/background screening to be eligible. Uniform and safety equipment provided upon hire.


Diakonos Group

2 internships for Culinary Associate; 2 internships for Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) pathway; afternoon placement; 2 class periods per day

Students interested in the nursing profession have the opportunity to become a CNA via internship with Diakonos Group. Interns would start out as Hospitality Aides with potential to enroll in an online CNA program, paid for by Diakonos Group. Students would complete coursework on their own time, while completing the clinical hour requirement in their work as interns.

There is also an opportunity for students that are interested in becoming a Culinary Associate. Students would work in the kitchen, preparing meals under the supervision of a lead chef, for residents of their assigned campus.


Flintco

Full year internship; 18+ years only; afternoon placement; 2 class periods per day

This internship provides a great opportunity to students interested in construction management, design-build, general contracting and program/project management. Students must possess a valid drivers license, have their own transportation, and pass a drug/background screening to be eligible. Safety equipment will be provided to students upon hire.


Lifetime Transmissions

2 interns; afternoon placement; 3 class periods per day

Students would work on removing, replacing, and rebuilding transmissions, as well as learning to run diagnostics. Lifetime Transmissions will provide tools, but will offer higher pay to students with their own tools. There is good potential for full time work after graduation.

Lynx Systems, LLC

2 interns; afternoon placement; 2 class periods per day; 18+ years only

This internship is for students interested in installing low voltage electric systems. Students must have boots (no tennis shoes) and work jeans. Lynx will provide the necessary high vis shirts. Students must also have their own tools; however a basic tool set can also be payroll deducted if preferred. This internship will aid in preparing for licensure requirements. Students must possess a valid drivers license, have their own transportation, and pass a drug/background screening to be eligible.


Solar Turbines Inc.

2-3 internships for a 1 semester rotation; 18+ years only

Student will apply through their Temp Hire company. Students will learn about turbine manufacturing and sustainable energy solutions along with engineering concepts, quality control, machining just to name a few.

GH2 is looking for a highly motivated individual to be a part of their growing team. This position will include supporting the office and design studios with daily tasks. This candidate will also have the opportunity to work directly with architectural staff and visit active construction sites. Students must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational and planning skills, and proficiency in technology/computer programs (MS Office, Word, Excel).


York Electronic Systems

2 interns; full year internship; afternoon placement; 2 class periods per day; 16+ years only

This internship is for students interested in installing low voltage electric systems, such as cameras, alarms, key pads, etc. Students must have work boots and jeans. A York polo work shirt will be provided at no cost to the students. This is a paid internship, with the opportunity to receive a scholarship to OSU-Okmulgee to complete the required certification program. Acceptance of the scholarship opportunity would be contingent on a 2 year commitment of employment upon program completion.
