Board of Education releases 2023-24 and 2024-25 Instructional Calendars

Broken Arrow Public Schools Board of Education released the 2023-24 instructional calendar (pdf) and the 2024-25 instructional calendar (pdf) during its regularly scheduled meeting on March 6.  

New for the upcoming school year:

• There are still eight pre-planned Distance Learning Days built into the calendar for teacher collaboration and instructional planning. However, these dates will now take place on Fridays instead of Mondays to provide more flexibility for families.
   
• There are five snow days built into the calendar, meaning if the district does not use any snow days, the last day of school will be five days sooner. In certain circumstances or emergencies, distance learning may still be used.
   
• The date and location of graduation will be released every winter.
