Janet Dotson is a graduate of Coweta High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Northeastern State University and received her Master’s degree in Public School Administration from Southern Nazarene University. 

Mrs. Dotson is currently entering her first year as principal of Leisure Park Elementary. Prior to coming to Broken Arrow Mrs. Dotson taught pre-K, 3rd and 4th grades and served as an elementary principal for Wagoner Public Schools. Mrs. Dotson is an RtI Professional Development speaker and has spoken for the Oklahoma State Department of Education, Cooperative Council for Oklahoma School Administrators (CCOSA), Renaissance Learning, EditOK and a host of local workshops and round table discussions.  

Mrs. Dotson is married to her wonderful husband, Tim and they have three children, Andrew, David and Ariel. She and her family enjoy attending church together, camping, vacationing, and playing golf.
 

Leslie Officer, Assistant Principal

Leslie Officer is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a Bachelors in Elementary Education and a Masters in Library Science. She continued her education at NSU Broken Arrow with an alternative certification in Education Administration. She has taught at Oklahoma City Public Schools, Jenks Public Schools, and Union Public Schools before joining Broken Arrow Public Schools in 2010 as the Librarian at Park Lane Elementary. Leslie is married to Mark and they have five children, who all attend Broken Arrow Public Schools. In her free time, Leslie enjoy activities with her family, running, and camping.
