Ron Beckwith grew up attending Tulsa Public Schools. He attended both Tulsa University and Northeastern State University obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Masters degree in Elementary Counseling, Secondary Counseling, and School Administration. Mr. Beckwith started his teaching career in Bixby in 1975 where he also became a counselor and assistant principal. He came to Broken Arrow Public Schools in 1980 and was hired as a full time assistant principal at Vandever Elementary, becoming principal in 1983. Wolf Creek Elementary was built to accommodate the growing population at Vandever which sometimes peaked at 1,000 plus students. Upon its completion in 1991, he became principal at Wolf Creek until present. Mr. Beckwith was the first Recipient of the Phil Tucker Broken Arrow PTA Council Principal of the Year award. 

Mr. Beckwith believes children are our greatest natural resource.  He takes the responsibility of educating the children at Wolf Creek Elementary very seriously." I pledge that along with an outstanding instructional staff to provide caring support, instructional expertise, and the dedicated commitment to nurture and educate all children while entrusted to our care."
