Courtney Elias is a graduate of Northeast High School in Oklahoma City. She attended Oklahoma State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics. She received her Master’s degree in Public School Administration from Northeastern State University in 1998 while teaching at McAuliffe Elementary in Union Public Schools. Mrs. Elias has spent 14 years in public education and is currently entering her first year as principal of Arrowhead Elementary. Prior to coming to Broken Arrow Mrs. Elias served as an elementary principal in Union Public Schools and taught in a 3rd and 4th grade Looping Program. Mrs. Elias has a passion for education and helping children, parents and teachers. She also takes great pride in serving the local community and strives to make a positive difference in children’s lives. Mrs. Elias is married to her wonderful husband, Steve. They have two children, Garrett and Collin. She and her family enjoy attending church together, boating, vacationing, and spending time in the outdoors.
 

Amy Oglesbee, Assistant Principal

Amy Oglesbee joined Broken Arrow Public Schools in July 2004.  She has 12 years experience as an elementary teacher and an administrator. Oglesbee graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and Masters Degree in Public School Administration from Northeastern State University. She is a member of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, and assisted in the opening of Liberty Elementary, and has served at Country Lane, Lynn Wood and Oak Crest elementary schools.  Her training for the last eight years has included Great Expectations training, workshops and PEP classes, as well as Literacy First Trained and Coaching Skills for Successful Teaching. She and her husband Adam have two children, Ethan and Erin.
