Ernest Childers Middle School Administration
Ernest Childers Middle School is named for Colonel Ernest Childers, a WWII Congressional Medal of Honor recipient. In 1985, Childers Middle School opened its doors as a "student centered" school. Emphasis on the student continues today through sixth grade teaming, innovative grant funded interdisciplinary projects, the performing arts, the visual arts, and athletics. Students and faculty members have achieved national recognition through National History Day, The American Express Travel Competition, Project Business, National Energy Education Development, The Transformations Project, Eco-Water Systems Art Contest, AAA Art Contest and the AAUW Eleanor Roosevelt Fellowship. Innovative projects emphasizing science, math and technology are nationally funded.

Stacy Replogle, Principal
Stacy Replogle is a graduate of Cascia Hall Preparatory High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University of Oklahoma in Norman. She holds a M. Ed in Administration from Texas A&M University-Commerce. Ms. Replogle started her career teaching in the Dallas Independent School District. Prior to moving back to Tulsa, she worked for the Canyons School District in Sandy, UT as a Title I, Title III, Native American and Migrant program administrator. Upon her return to the Tulsa area, she worked at Jenks Public Schools as a Building Principal.
She is coming to Childers Middle School from the high school where she was an Assistant Principal for the last year. She is excited about the upcoming school year and looking forward to serving the students and staff at Childers Middle School. Go Tigers!
Curtis Green, Assistant Principal
Mr. Curtis Green has been in education since 1989 with more than 16 years of experience at Broken Arrow Public Schools. Mr. Green began his education career as a science teacher for Union Public Schools. In 1996, he started his administrative career at Broken Arrow Public Schools, where he has held various administrative roles, including Director of Student Services and Executive Director of Administrative Services. He currently serves as an assistant principal at Childers Middle School.
After graduating from Broken Arrow Senior High School in 1984, Mr. Green received his Bachelor of Science in Education (1988) from the University of Oklahoma and his Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction (1993) from Oklahoma State University. Mr. Green is a member of the Cooperative Council of Oklahoma School Administrators (CCOSA), Leadership Broken Arrow (class of 2010), and served on the Board of Directors of the Gatesway Foundation.
Tammy Strickland, Assistant Principal
Tammy Strickland has been a proud Broken Arrow Tiger since fourth grade and is a 1994 BAHS graduate. She attended Northeastern State University in Tahlequah where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and went on to earn her Master’s degree in Education Administration, Curriculum and Supervision from the University of Oklahoma. In addition to her twelve years as a math teacher at Haskell Middle School, she has worked as a district learning coach, LITT (Lead Instructional Technology Teacher), and a basketball and softball coach. Mrs. Strickland has served in administration since 2011.
