Karyne Gates received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Oklahoma in 1976 and in 1990 she earned her Master’s degree in Education Administration from Northeastern State University. Mrs. Gates was hired by Broken Arrow Public school in 1977 and for the next thirteen years taught 1st grade, 2nd grade and Music at Haskell Elementary and Indian Springs Elementary. In 1990 she became a part time assistant principal and taught 3rd through 5th grades. During her 6 years as an assistant principal she served Southside, Spring Creek, Arrowhead, and Park Lane Elementary schools. When appointed as principal in 1996 she joined the Rhoades Elementary staff until opening Liberty Elementary in 2004. |
 Teresa Bowker, Assistant PrincipalE-mail Ms. Bowker Teresa Bowker is a graduate of Claremore High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and holds a Master’s degree in School Administration both from Northeastern State University. Mrs. Bowker joined Broken Arrow Public Schools in the summer of 2011, where she is the Assistant Principal for Liberty Elementary. Prior to coming to Broken Arrow, Mrs. Bowker worked as a Pre-k, Kindergarten, and First grade teacher at Union Public Schools for 17 years. |
