 Vicki Beckwith, PrincipalE-mail Ms. Beckwith A native Oklahoman, Vicki Beckwith always knew she wanted to be a teacher. Her love for children was innate and she never once considered another career. A graduate of Stillwater High School, this long time Cowboy fan received her Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education at Oklahoma State University. Mrs. Beckwith’s career at Broken Arrow Public Schools began in 1982 as a full-time substitute assigned to Sequoyah Middle School. Soon after she was transferred to a long-term sub position at Northeast Elementary (now Rhoades) which eventually led to her being hired as a first grade teacher. Upon completion of her master's degree in elementary and secondary counseling from Northeastern State University, Beckwith moved to Arrow Springs Elementary as a counselor for seven years. During that time period, she obtained a masters degree in administration at NSU. Mrs. Beckwith was named principal at Vandever Elementary in December 1993 |
