1.September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Unfortunately, each year, more than 15,000 kids and young adults are diagnosed with cancer. - St. Jude is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Show your support and participate in the St. Jude Walk/Run to end Childhood Cancer this Saturday the 21st at OneOK field. Let us “Go Gold” wear gold/yellow shirts/clothing tomorrow. 2.Student Council will have a meeting today in Mrs. Gaunt’s room #302. If you missed the morning meeting, please attend the one after school.
3.TSA will have their first meeting next Wednesday, September 25th after school until 4 in Mrs. Gaunt’s room.
4.Math Counts will begin to meet today from 3:15 – 4:15 in Mrs. Jones’s classroom. We look at different math problems or activities. In February we take a team of four to competition at the University of Tulsa to compete against the other Tulsa area schools. Anyone is welcome to attend!
5.Teenz for Christ will meet this Friday, September 20th at 8:00 in the Commons Area. It’s free, it’s fun, and everybody at Oliver is invited! If you are a bus rider, please come when you can!!!
6.Picture Day is NEXT Tuesday, September 24th All students received an order form in their English classes. There are 2 ways to pay – *PAYING ONLINE is the BEST WAY because you get to pick your background!!! You can also get MORE PRODUCTS when you pre-order online! If you pay with Cash or Check, just fill out the envelope, put your payment inside and bring back to school and hand it to the photographer on picture day. Order as soon as possible!
