Financial aid specialists to assist students, parents with FAFSA Feb. 29

The College and Career Center will be hosting a FAFSA Workshop from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 29, for seniors and their parents. This event will be held in the media center at Broken Arrow High School. Financial Aid Representatives from local colleges/universities will be available to answer questions about the new 2024/2025 FAFSA and assist families with submitting it.

The FAFSA is required for students to be eligible for financial aid, work study and scholarships, including Tulsa Achieves and Oklahoma’s Promise.

Parents and students are encouraged to bring the following items:

  • Chromebook or laptop computer
  • A Federal Student Aid ID (This ID can be created here and it takes 3-5 days to be verified. ID has to be verified BEFORE the FAFSA can be completed).
  • Social Security Number
  • 2022 Federal Income Tax Return and W-2s
  • A list of schools to receive the results of the FAFSA

Visit the FAFSA website about important changes.

Please note: The FAFSA is FREE. Never pay to complete the FAFSA.
