Launch the media gallery 1 playerVandever Garden Club members harvested a great crop of knowledge, fun, AND food last Thursday after school. The kids enjoyed picking melons, tomatoes, green beans, and even beets! The best part was getting to taste all the different foods they’ve been growing ever since the club started last February and members first planted their seeds in the indoor greenhouse. Thanks to Broken Arrow administration and partnership with Crossland Construction, the garden even got special multi-handicapp access for Vandever’s wheelchair bound students as part of an Eagle Scout project by Andrew Singletary over the summer. The school garden has become a great place to learn AND grow for everyone!
