The long-awaited BA Aquatic Center is moving forward and will soon become a reality for Broken Arrow Public Schools. Located at the Kirkland Activities Complex, 808 E. College Street, the project was approved by voters in the 2015 Bond and has now completed the schematic design phase. The design development stage is currently underway, where details of the facility are being refined.
The next step will be preparing bid packages during the spring semester, with construction planned to begin by the end of the 2025–26 school year. Once construction starts, the project is expected to take about 16 months to complete.
This milestone marks an exciting step toward providing Broken Arrow Public Schools with a state-of-the-art aquatic facility that will benefit students for years to come.
