Broken Arrow Public Schools encourages all families to complete the 2026-27 Free & Reduced Meal Application. Filling out the application benefits not only your household but the entire district.
Applications are available online only Paper applications will not be accepted.
Please note: Families must complete a new application each school year, even if they qualified previously.
Here are five important reasons to submit the application:
1. You May Qualify for Free or Reduced-Price Meals
Based on your household size and income, your student may be eligible to receive free or reduced-price breakfast and lunch. Some students who receive Medicaid may also qualify.
2. It Brings Additional Funding to Our Schools
Approved applications help Broken Arrow Public Schools receive additional federal and state funding that supports students, classrooms and educational programs across the district.
3. You Could Save on College Readiness Exams
Students who qualify for free or reduced meals may also be eligible for fee waivers on college readiness exams, including the ACT and SAT, helping families save money while preparing for college.
4. It May Waive College Application Fees
Many colleges and universities offer application fee waivers to eligible students, making the college application process more affordable.
5. It Helps with State Aid Funding
Participation in the Free & Reduced Meal Program is one of the factors used in determining state aid funding, helping ensure Broken Arrow Public Schools receives the resources needed to support all students.
