Career Pathways Internship Program

The Career Pathways Internship program provides students experiential learning and skills development in a professional setting with established Broken Arrow Public Schools business partners. Internships provide an opportunity for students to gain valuable work experience and make professional connections in a field aligned with their intended career paths. Internships also provide employers the opportunity to guide and evaluate talent as students hone their talents, goals, abilities and interests. Some internships are paid, while all options allow students to earn elective credit for graduation. Juniors and seniors with a valid driver's license and vehicle are eligible to participate in the internship program.

Internships

Internships are available to BAPS' junior and senior students. Some internships are paid and all options allow students to earn elective credit for graduation. Options for internships include (but are not limited to) health science, pre-nursing, coaching and exercise science, teaching, architecture, construction and skilled trades, and more.

Eligible students are in good academic standing, have good attendance and their own personal vehicle. Enrollment in this program would take up two (2) elective hours in their schedule per semester or for the full academic year.

Students interested in the internship program can apply in the spring of their 10th-grade year for the following school year. Students will need to let their school counselor know during spring enrollment. Applications are available in the College & Career Center located MN 124.
