Computer II is a one-semester course for any seventh or eighth grader. Most of the assignments completed in Computer II are accomplished by using tutorials, typing code within Notepad++ to see programming examples, and using some Google app programs, like Google Sites.
The following are objectives to be covered:
-Google Sites
-Create a simple web page.
-Using HTML
-Students will use a simple tutorial to help them understand and use basic HTML tags. Students will also write, debug, and run code in Notepad++.
-Using CSS
-Students will use a simple tutorial to help them understand and use basic CSS formatting. Students will also write, debug, and run code in Notepad++.
-Using Javascript
-Students will create web pages using the Javascript language. They will be introduced to introduction topics, such as: variables, conditions (IF), logical and relational operators, and loops. Students will also write, debug, and run code in Notepad++.
-Keyboarding
-Students will continue to improve typing speed, accuracy, and using the correct fingers within an online typing program.
