Boys to Men
Attention 7th Grader Boys: Are you interested in building strong leadership skills, making new friends, and growing into a positive role model for our school community? Sequoyah Middle School is excited to announce the launch of Boys to Men, a 7th Grade Character & Leadership Club!
When: Every Friday during Tiger Advisory, starting Friday
Where: Room #202, Dr. Marbach’s room
Who: Open to all 7th grade boys looking to build confidence, practice teamwork, and develop character
What We Do:
Throughout the year, members will participate in fun, engaging activities and interactive workshops designed to help you succeed in school and beyond:
Interactive Leadership Workshops: Develop effective communication, decision-making, and goal-setting skills.
Guest Speaker Series: Hear from inspiring community leaders, mentors, and local professionals.
Community and School Service Projects: Partner on meaningful service initiatives to give back to Sequoyah and our local community.
Team-Building and Mentorship: Connect with peers, participate in group discussions, and build strong relationships.

Fellowship of Christian Students
FCS is a club for like-minded students and teachers. The club, centered on Scripture, is open to anyone. Meetings are primarily student-led and focus on the Christian-walk of Middle School students. Meetings may include guest speakers, service projects and games. Refreshments will also be available (juice and donuts). The first meeting of the year will be Wednesday morning beginning at 7:45 a.m. in Dr. Marbach’s room #202.

Reflections
To celebrate National Arts in Education Week, the PTSA will officially kick off the Reflections Art program on Monday. The theme for this year is "What My Culture Means to Me," and students have the opportunity to showcase their talents and explore the arts through 6 different categories: Visual Arts, Photography, Literature, Music Composition, Dance Choreography and Film Production. The deadline to submit all entries is Tuesday, November 3. Instructions and packets will be available in the office beginning Monday.
Smashed Game & Grill Spirit Night
Get your game and grub on! Join us for our Spirit Night at Smashed Game and Grill on Thursday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. These are come-and-go times, so stop in for game play and a bite to eat anytime during these hours and remember to mention "SEQUOYAH."
The Sequoia Project Girls Club
This club is designed for 7th grade girls with an interest in building life skills and positive relationships with other girls in their community. From topics like character building, communication, lifestyle, and more, this clubs aims to bring out the best in you while creating a group of girls that uplift each other and grow into strong women together. Application forms are available in the Main Office and are due to Ms. Dobbins in Room #138 by Thursday.
