Beyond the Bell

Attention Students!

Get ready to unleash your creativity and enjoy some delicious food! We are thrilled to announce a special Pizza and Paint Night hosted by the Beyond the Bell program. This is a fantastic opportunity to relax, have fun, and make art with your friends and family. Whether you're a budding Picasso or just looking for a fun evening out, this event is for you!

Event Details:

  • Time: 6:00 P.M. – 7:30 P.M.

  • Where: Sequoyah Middle School Cafeteria

Best of all, it’s completely FREE!

We will provide:

  • Hot, delicious pizza for everyone

  • Canvases, paints, brushes, and all other art supplies

  • A fun and welcoming atmosphere

No prior painting experience is needed. Just bring yourself and your creativity! Come join the fun and great food. The sign up link will be sent to parents in their email and or text messages.

Dodgeball

We are having a Zombie Dodgeball Tournament on Friday, March 13.  In order to attend or play in the tournament, you cannot have an office referral beginning today (February 23) through Thursday, March 12.  Details to sign up to play will be shared at a later time.  Remember - no office referrals in order to play in or attend the Zombie Dodgeball Tournament.

 

Technology Student Association Class Information 

Students who will be in 7th or 8th grade for the 2026-2027 school year may apply to take the NEW Technology Student Association Class.

The goal of Technology Student Association is to develop leadership through STEM. Students will have the opportunity to complete projects and travel to competitions. If you want to join TSA, please see more information in your Student Life about filling out the application due by March 3.

The Unified Champion Schools Program

The UCS program—specifically the Unified Club—is a powerful initiative by Special Olympics designed to dissolve the barriers between students.  The first meeting will be next Thursday morning at 7:45 a.m.  in Ms. Chaffin’s Room #103.

Yearbook Information

The Sequoyah Middle School Yearbooks are now on sale. Make sure you purchase yours before it’s too late. The last day to order is April 26.

There are a few ways you can buy it today: 

1. You can go to Jostens.com/buyyearbk 

2. Call 1(877)-767-5217, 8:00 A.M.–5:00 P.M. CST MONDAY–FRIDAY

3. You can scan one of the QR codes on the yearbook posters that can be found throughout the school
