Ainsley Vetter - "Ainsley always gives 100% effort. She participates in class and works well with others."
Adrian Maldonado - "Adrian is the type of student that makes all of the students around him want to be better. His positive attitude and effort are contagious!!"

7th Grade
Conner Head - "Conner is such a sweet student with a stellar attitude. A perfect example of why I have nominated Conner is that I heard him talking to a student with their head down the other day, asking them if they were okay and telling them he hopes they feel better. He was also amazing in Stars on Stage!"
Lillian Simpson - "I think she exemplifies every one of the necessary Tiger Traits to be considered for student of the month. She has maintained a 95 percent average or higher in all of her classes, while being actively involved in both choir and Tigettes. She never complains about assignments when they conflict with her extracurricular activities or even when she has to miss school for appointments or family-related reasons. She is conscientious and proactive about her education and always shows gratitude and appreciation to those around her. When other students crumble under pressure, she's their rock who provides steady assurance and assistance, if needed. There's no one who deserves the recognition more than she does!"
Johnny Wright - "Johnny is a wonderful student. He always puts forth his best effort and is a leader inside and outside the classroom. He balances all his academic and extracurricular activities well without letting one or the other slip."

8th
Cadence Lehman - "Cadence is a perfect example of a kid born out of her time. She is a old soul, who has incredible work ethic and has empathy towards others. She goes above and beyond for her teachers and does it with a smile!"
Eric Xiong - "Eric is a student who is consistent with his academics and participation in class. He has broad and varied interests. He always has a positive attitude and is willing to help, not just when asked, but often when not, which is a true sign of his integrity."

Adison Kerchal - Special Education - "Ms. Kerchal's passion for her students is beautiful. She consistently goes above and beyond to support them in their goals, and they know that they can trust her to always do the right thing."

Leo Nunez Saucedo - "Leo is creative, kind, and hardworking. He's a joy to have in class!"

William Hall - "William is shy and quiet but shines on the TSA competition robotics team. He steps up to help and assist with all team members."

Mason Blan - "Mason is a very diligent student and consistently maintains an outstanding work ethic. He is also always willing to lend a helping hand to support his classmates with a positive attitude. He is an exemplary student!"

Gracie Beams - "Gracie is the epidemy of leadership, tenacity and goal oriented. She continually has positive classroom effort and leads with "Grace".
Nayeli Rojas - Naylei is such a good example of a leader who leads by example. She does what is asked of her without reminders.

Kaydence Anderson - 6th - "Kaydence is an incredibly kind, creative, and fun student. I enjoy talking to her and getting to know her. She works hard in class and actively participates in discussions. She's a strong critical thinker and demonstrates what a BA Tiger is!"
Ava Roberts - 6th - "Ava participates in class, maintains good grades, and gives her full effort on assignments. "
Seth McDonald - 7th -"I am so proud of Seth's growth since last year. Seth has maintained great grades and had excellent behavior!"
Brady Rudick - 7th - "He is always pleasant, respectful, and on top of assignments."
Jack Yokum - 8th - "Jack is always helpful and pleasant. Other students look up to him, and he is a great example of a positive leader. "

Amy Bearden-Willett - 8th Grade History - "Willett works hard every single day for kids. She truly meets students where they are and makes them feel supported and valued. She’s an amazing coworker who is always willing to step in and help others, no matter what’s needed. She consistently takes on extra responsibilities and somehow manages to do it all with style, positivity, and a smile. We’re lucky to have her!"

Fisher Myers - 6th - "I am nominating Fisher due to his positive attitude, willingness to help others, and his leadership skills he is bringing to and developing in Student Council. I believe that Fisher is an excellent student and all-around good human being!"
Madelynne Cedar- 7th -"This student is an all-star! Not only is she an amazing student, she maintains high expectations for her entire life. She is confident and caring, and we are lucky to have her at OMS!"
Mia Sanders - 7th - "This student is always focused on her goals and helps others in class when working as a team."
Emma Janes- 8th - "She provides a level of calm that is unmatched. She is an excellent student and all-around great person."
Joaquin Figueroa- 8th - " He demonstrates strong leadership during classroom activities and often helps his peers during Kagan tasks. His positive classroom effort exceed expectations, and he maintains excellent grades. He is tenacious with his work in my class, and he shows respect for school property, his peers, and all adults. He works hard, is polite, stays focused, and is just an overall great person. "
Merica Hogan - Theatre Arts Director - "She works hard to involve students in her subject and she is a safe place for many. She puts 100% into everything she does. Her influence on the students inspires their creativity and confidence. She LOVES her job, she loves what she teaches, but most of all, she loves her students. Her passion for the arts easily passes onto her students. She has high expectations for her kids, she puts in HOURS outside of her contract hours, and always gives 100% so these kids can shine and put on phenomenal shows!"

🇺🇸 Thank You, Veterans! 🇺🇸

This morning, Oliver Middle School proudly hosted our annual Veterans Day Breakfast to honor the brave men and women who have served our country. 💙❤️

Our veterans enjoyed breakfast with their families, listened to beautiful performances from our choirs, and heard heartfelt thank-you letters written by our students. It was a wonderful morning filled with gratitude, community, and respect for those who have sacrificed so much for our freedom.

To all of our veterans — thank you for your service and dedication. We are honored to celebrate you today and every day. ✨
