Carlitos Ruiz - 6th - "Always has a good attitude, helpful, and kind to everyone"
Fisher Myers - 6th - "I am nominating Fisher due to his positive attitude, willingness to help others, and his leadership skills he is bringing to and developing in Student Council. I believe that Fisher is an excellent student and all-around good human being!"
Madelynne Cedar- 7th -"This student is an all-star! Not only is she an amazing student, she maintains high expectations for her entire life. She is confident and caring, and we are lucky to have her at OMS!"
Mia Sanders - 7th - "This student is always focused on her goals and helps others in class when working as a team."

Joaquin Figueroa- 8th - " He demonstrates strong leadership during classroom activities and often helps his peers during Kagan tasks. His positive classroom effort exceed expectations, and he maintains excellent grades. He is tenacious with his work in my class, and he shows respect for school property, his peers, and all adults. He works hard, is polite, stays focused, and is just an overall great person. "
Merica Hogan - Theatre Arts Director - "She works hard to involve students in her subject and she is a safe place for many. She puts 100% into everything she does. Her influence on the students inspires their creativity and confidence. She LOVES her job, she loves what she teaches, but most of all, she loves her students. Her passion for the arts easily passes onto her students. She has high expectations for her kids, she puts in HOURS outside of her contract hours, and always gives 100% so these kids can shine and put on phenomenal shows!"

This morning, Oliver Middle School proudly hosted our annual Veterans Day Breakfast to honor the brave men and women who have served our country. 💙❤️
Our veterans enjoyed breakfast with their families, listened to beautiful performances from our choirs, and heard heartfelt thank-you letters written by our students. It was a wonderful morning filled with gratitude, community, and respect for those who have sacrificed so much for our freedom.
To all of our veterans — thank you for your service and dedication. We are honored to celebrate you today and every day. ✨
