Last Call!
Broken Arrow Public Schools is a student-focused, relationship-driven school district, and we understand the value in communicating with parents/guardians. To ensure prompt communications, we must review and annually update contact information for students. You can now complete the Annual Online Registration Update (AORU) through our Infinite Campus Enrollment Platform. The Annual Online Registration Update process allows the enrollment team to quickly and efficiently update addresses, contact information and health consent for students. The completion of these online forms is mandatory in order to be re-enrolled for the next school year. The Annual Online Registration Update opened on April 7th. Parents/guardians will access the Annual Online Registration Update through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. If you have not yet activated your parent portal, please check your email as information regarding the activation key has been sent in previous email communication. If you are a student’s mother, father or legal guardian and have not received an email initiating Parent Portal setup, please Contact Us. For further information and detailed instructions, please visit www.baschools.org/AnnualOnlineRegistrationUpdate. Thank you, Broken Arrow Public Schools Enrollment Services

Congratulations to Ms. Clapper for being our February Teacher of the Month. She was nominated twice! Here is why she was nominated: 1) Our son ADORES Ms. Clapper! She makes him feel so special & he loves being in her class! He says she's a "good & fun" teacher. "I like all things about her!" 2) She is a fantastic teacher, my daughter has learned so much from her this year and she absolutely loves her teacher. She does so much more for her students, she truly cares for them and it shows.

Chapters 4-7 this week!
Our Kids Heart Challenge just has a few days left and Timber Ridge is doing amazing on working towards our goals! We are thrilled to announce that we have surpassed our financial goal of $11,000 so thank you for working so hard on that. We still need some more people to register so that Coach can get the extra $500. Also, we need about 30 more people to complete the Finn's Challenge. If your child has earned a keychain or other prize, be sure they have come to see Coach by the tree in the morning so he can give them their prize. Let's finish strong and get these last two goals accomplished! http://www2.heart.org/site/TR?fr_id=11259&pg=company&company_id=491417

Kindergarten and 4th Grade Heart Rate Tracking- 4th grade and kindergarten worked together to track heart rate and make predictions. They learned the different locations on the body where you can feel your heart rate (such as the wrist, neck). Students were to make predictions to decide which heart rate would be faster; a kindergartener or a 4th grader. They also made predictions about how the heart rate would change based upon activity (after running, resting, walking, etc.).
