Broken Arrow Public Schools is gearing up for one of its favorite community traditions as the annual Homecoming Parade returns to Main Street on Thursday, Oct. 1, at 4:30 p.m.

This year’s parade will bring students, staff, families, alumni and community members together to celebrate Homecoming with creative floats, student groups, athletes and plenty of Tiger spirit. In honor of the nation’s semiquincentennial, this year’s Homecoming theme is “Coast to Coast: Celebrating America’s 250th.”

Please note that this year’s 4:30 p.m. start time differs from previous years due to scheduling and coordination with the City of Broken Arrow.

The parade will begin on Main Street at the intersection of First Street and College Street and travel through the heart of Broken Arrow before concluding at the Education Service Center, 701 S. Main St.

Following the parade, the Homecoming festivities will continue downtown with an Alumni & Community Fundraiser from 5 to 7 p.m. at The Lodge on Main Street, 118 S. Main St. Broken Arrow alumni, families and community members are invited to stop by and connect with fellow Tigers, purchase alumni apparel and enter raffles for a variety of prizes.

All proceeds from the fundraiser will support senior scholarships, the Great Graduates program and future alumni events.

Alumni and community members are encouraged to join us for an afternoon of Homecoming traditions, Tiger pride and opportunities to support programs that keep Tigers connected for years to come.
