Broken Arrow Public Schools will celebrate Red Ribbon Week Oct. 26-30, joining schools and communities across the nation in promoting healthy, drug-free lifestyles and raising awareness about the dangers of substance use, including fentanyl poisoning.

Red Ribbon Week is the nation’s largest and longest-running drug prevention campaign, bringing together schools, families and communities to encourage students to make healthy choices.

This year’s theme, “Make a Difference: Be a Hero, Stay Drug Free,” reminds students that choosing a drug-free lifestyle is an everyday act of courage and leadership. By making positive decisions, students can set an example for their peers and make a meaningful difference in their schools and communities.

Throughout the week, Broken Arrow Public Schools encourages students, families and staff to participate in Red Ribbon Week activities and engage in important conversations about drug prevention, fentanyl awareness and making safe, healthy choices.
