Full-time Online Program

Virtual Academy meets all graduation requirements for students in grades 9-12. This program is ideal for students who strive to earn credit advancement, are in need of credit recovery, or for those students who want to attend Virtual Academy as their full-time option. Some students prefer a smaller learning environment, may suffer from anxiety or other condition that makes attending a traditional school difficult, or simply want to experience another way of learning. Please note that these online classes do not meet NCAA credit requirements, which means student-athletes who are pursuing their sport after high school should not enroll in these classes.

Students may still participate in activities at their home site to include: specialty electives, clubs, Concurrent Enrollment, Career Exploration Program, internships and Tulsa Technology Center.

Parents may enroll their students online. Once this form is filled out a BAVA staff member will contact you to answer any questions you might have and to set a start date.

Students will use their school issued Chromebooks to complete their work from home with minimal in class attendance required. We also have classroom times when students can come in to get help from their teachers. We employ certified, highly qualified teachers to assist students in their course work.

Students may come in any time our classrooms are in session:

Monday Through Friday

·       8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Tuesday and Thursdays additional evening hours

·       4 p.m. - 7 p.m.

For more information, please contact your counselor or email Dr. Hunt.
