Interpretation and Translation Services
If you are in need of a bilingual interpreter or document translation to facilitate communication with school staff, please contact the Title III office at 918-259-5706 to make arrangements with as much notice as possible. Broken Arrow Public Schools currently has bilingual staff in the EL Program available to interpret and translate in the following language(s): Arabic, Hmong, Russian, Spanish and Vietnamese.
Language Line Services
The district uses Language Line Services to provide phone interpretation services to facilitate communication with Limited English Speaking families and community members. Language Line can provide interpretation for incoming calls, outgoing calls or during an in-person meeting through a speakerphone. Language Line Services provides certified interpreters in more than 140 different languages.
To use a Language Line interpreter, please request a "Language Line Interpreter" when on the phone with school staff or contact the Title III office at 918-259-5706.
If you need a school document in a language other than English, please contact your child's school site or the Title III Office at 918-259-5706.
