Annual Course Selections

Next grade level or course selections for current Broken Arrow Public Schools students takes place each spring semester. Please review the information below for time-frame for each grade level.

The course planning guides for middle school, Freshman Academy and high school can be found under our Academics section.


Elementary

Current students who are entering Kindergarten through 5th grade for the next school year typically re-enroll in May at their school site. 


Middle School

Course selections for the upcoming new school year is usually in February.

Counselors from middle school sites visit each elementary school to help current 5th grade students select their courses for next school year and help make the transition into middle school seamless and exciting. The counselors at each school site will also meet with their current 6th and 7th graders to help them prepare for course selections. 


Freshman Academy

Course selections for the upcoming new school year is usually in February.

The Broken Arrow Freshman Academy enrollment counselors visit each middle school site to help prepare current 8th graders for their next step into high school.


High School (10-12)

High School students will have an opportunity to speak directly with their counselor to help ensure students have signed up for the correct courses based on their transcript history. Enrollment for the upcoming new school year is usually in February.

Upcoming juniors and seniors have opportunities to earn college credit while still in high school through programs such as PreAP/AP, concurrent enrollment and options through TulsaTech. To learn more about concurrent enrollment through Tulsa Community College (TCC) and Northeastern State University (NSU), please contact Tisha MacDonald at trmacdonald@baschools.org or 918-449-6184.

A Tulsa Technology Center representative is available in the College and Career Office a few days each week to help students with applications and information.

A TCC representative will be available during the enrollment days to answer questions and assist students in the admissions process.
