Important upcoming election dates

On Nov. 8, Oklahomans will have the opportunity to decide several important races, which include governor, state superintendent of public instruction, and local and federal legislative seats, all of whom will influence the future of public education for Broken Arrow students.

The following are some important upcoming dates:

• Oct. 14: Deadline to register to vote
• Oct. 24: Last day to request an absentee ballot
• Nov. 2 to Nov. 4: Early Voting at Hardesty Library (Tulsa County) OR Northeastern State University-BA (Wagoner County) from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Nov. 5: Early Voting at Hardesty Library (Tulsa County) OR Northeastern State University-BA (Wagoner County) from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Nov. 8: Election Day - polls are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
