Volunteer process and paperwork for City workers

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Broken Arrow Public Schools. The mission of Broken Arrow Public Schools is to educate, equip and empower a community of learners by providing dynamic learning opportunities which enable all students to be successful. Volunteers like you offer invaluable support to the district and help us achieve our mission.

If you are volunteering as a substitute teacher, please follow these few easy steps:

  1. Complete the required volunteer paperwork and fingerprinting via the Broken Arrow Police Department. 
  2. Attend one of the substitute workshops at the Education Service Center (701 S. Main St. Broken Arrow, OK 74012)
    • Monday, Feb. 7, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. OR
    • Wednesday Feb. 9, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. 
    • Please RSVP and bring completed paperwork and fingerprinting card to the workshop. 
  3. Once a criminal background check is completed and results are received, you will receive an email from Frontline to setup your account.
    • Frontline instructions as well as training materials will be given to you when you attend training.
  4. Workers can then start to accept assignments via phone calls or web.

If you are volunteering in any other capacity, please follow these easy steps

  1. Complete the required volunteer paperwork and fingerprinting via the Broken Arrow Police Department.
    • Return packet and fingerprint card to Human Resources
      1. Email to Lindsay Drake at ldrake@baschools.org (packet only)
      2. Drop off at Human Resources at the Education Service Center (701 S Main St Broken Arrow, OK 74012)
  2. Once a criminal background check is completed and results are received, you will be notified via email of your clearance to begin volunteering.
    • A BAPS representative will be in touch with more information regarding your placement, schedule, and any additional training that may be required.
