Class of 2022 accepts more than $6 million in scholarships

Amidst a number of achievements both inside and outside the classroom, Broken Arrow Public Schools’ Class of 2022 reported more than $6.2 million in scholarships.

Broken Arrow seniors received scholarships from universities across the nation, Florida State University, Howard University, Arizona State University, Harding University, University of Toronto, University of North Texas, University of Arkansas, and Washington University in St. Louis, and more.

Many also received scholarships from universities across the state, including Oklahoma State University, the University of Oklahoma, Northeastern State University, Oklahoma City University, the University of Tulsa, Oral Roberts, Oklahoma Baptist University and many others.

Whether students seek post-secondary education or aspire to begin a career, the district ensures continued success beyond high school with a college and career center located on the high school campus. This planning facility is equipped with trained counselors who provide students with personal and academic guidance regarding college and career preparations.

Also housed within the college and career center is information about off-campus learning opportunities available to students, including programs at Tulsa Technology Center, military contacts, and internship opportunities.

“The Broken Arrow High School College and Career Center is excited to celebrate the Class of 2022 and their accomplishments,” said College and Career Counselor Michae Haas. “Our goal is to prepare students to be college, career, and life ready. We are so proud of our students as they take the next steps Beyond BA!
