Broken Arrow girls wrestling state champions Olivia Brown and Allison Hynes signed letters of intent to wrestle in college at a special signing event Monday afternoon in Broken Arrow’s Varsity Training Center.

Brown and Hynes nabbed titles in the first Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association Girls State Wrestling Championships in February. Both wrestlers also are nationally ranked. Hynes won gold at 118 pounds, while Brown was crowned champion at 215.

Brown signed to wrestle with Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa, while Hynes will wrestle at Central Methodist University in Fayette, Mo. Both schools compete in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).

Brown is the second Tiger to sign with Grand View. Alexandria Cockrell signed with the Vikings a year ago.
