Broken Arrow High School earns Energy Star Certification

Director of Facilities Larry Shackleford, Principal Crystal Barber, Associate Principal Andy Rice, and the district's Energy Specialist Jadon Dykes are proud to announce that since the Energy Program began in 2017, the district has saved over $2.5 million, with the high school alone saving $446,118 of that amount!

The energy savings Broken Arrow High School has earned is the equivalent of taking 768 cars off the road for one year or planting 94,472 tree seedlings grown for 10 years.

All 24 eligible buildings have earned an Energy Star Certification.

Broken Arrow High School has earned a 75%. That means our school is more energy efficient than 75% of similar buildings in the entire nation!
