Johnson O'Malley program to provide school supplies to eligible students
Broken Arrow Public Schools is pleased to host its annual Johnson O’ Malley (JOM) school supply distribution event for eligible students Aug. 3-5 in the gymnasium at the Broken Arrow Options Academy located at 412 S. 9th St. Postcards will be mailed out by Monday, July 27. Due to social distancing protocols, there will be a two (2) person per family limit in the building. Wearing a mask is encouraged but not required at this time. Hand sanitizer will be provided.
To be eligible for school supplies, the following guidelines need to be met:
- Participants must be enrolled in Broken Arrow Public Schools and in the district's J.O.M. program operated by the Indian Education Department.
- Parents will need to bring postcard(s) that were mailed out.
- Parents will also need to complete an online Needs Assessment survey for each JOM student within the household.
Pick-up will be done alphabetically by last name from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on all three days. Please read carefully!
Monday, Aug. 3:
- A-C from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- D-F from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- G-H from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Tuesday, Aug. 4:
- I-K from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- L-N from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- O-P from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Wednesday, Aug. 5:
- Q-S from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- T-V from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- W-Z from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
