School sponsored out-of-state travel information - March 12

As a preventative measure designed to limit the spread of COVID-19 in Oklahoma, the district is canceling all school sponsored out-of-state travel with a departure day on or before April 3. This date could change as we continue to monitor the situation.
This cancellation applies to all students and employees, regardless of travel method. With this announcement, it is important to note there are currently NO confirmed cases of coronavirus in Broken Arrow Public Schools.
Following guidance from Governor Stitt’s recent press conference on coronavirus, he recommends schools remain open as there is currently no sign of community spread.
Please know district leadership is maintaining close communication with officials at the Tulsa Health Department and the Oklahoma State Department of Health for their expertise and guidance.
