Chili cookoff, silent auction to support Special Olympians Oct. 1, tickets on sale now
The Broken Arrow Special Olympics Team is excited to host its annual fundraising event, which features a chili dinner and auction, on Saturday, Oct. 1, at 6 p.m. in the Centennial Middle School cafeteria. All proceeds will assist the team as they travel to the area and state games.
Tickets are on sale now for $10 and can be purchased online at www.fundraiser.support/baspecialolympics or at the door. For attendees who sign up to bring chili for the cookoff, entry is free at the door, but please register.
During this fundraising event, all attendees will enjoy dinner donated by Ron’s Chili and Oklahoma Joes and will have the option to participate in an auction (view auction items).
The year, the chili cookoff judges include Broken Arrow Mayor Debra Wimpee, “Forged in Fire” winner Felicia Howard, Oklahoma Senator John Haste, Oklahoma Representative Ross Ford and “American Ninja Warrior” winner Venn Johns.
For those who can’t make the event, patrons are able to make a direct donation to the Special Olympics team. If you have questions, please contact Christina Gould at email@example.com or visit https://www.facebook.com/BASpecialOlympics.
