Construction summer projects are in full swing around the district.

At Vandever Elementary two Special Education classrooms utilized for multi-handicapped students are being renovated. These renovations will provide new program appropriate finishes, proper restroom facilities, storage rooms, and handicapped accessible cabinetry. In addition to these renovations, the playground area will receive new handicapped accessible equipment including a wheelchair swing and ADA adaptive swing. This project will be complete in time for the 2015 – 2016 school year.

At Broken Arrow High School a renovation to the Special Education Restrooms is in progress. This renovation will provide students with appropriate restroom facilities, ADA updates, and better access.

Westwood is receiving some minor renovations to prepare for the Air Force National Defense Cadet Corps Unit (NDCC) program to come to Broken Arrow Public Schools.

Over the summer the high school and the Freshman Academy will receive some much needed parking lot and paving improvements.
