Melissa Galloway is in her 17th year of education which consists of 11 years as a classroom teacher, four years as an assistant principal, and this is her second year as the principal at Westwood. Since being hired in Broken Arrow, Mrs. Galloway has taught at South Intermediate High School, Country Lane Elementary, and served as the assistant principal at Lynn Wood Elementary, Oak Crest Elementary, and Liberty Elementary. Mrs. Galloway has also taught in Arkansas and Louisiana.
Mrs. Galloway believes every child can learn. All children learn at their own pace and building positive relationships is the foundation to learning.
