Partners in Education
Partners in Education (PIE) has been connecting the community with the classroom for more than 20 years! In 1994, Broken Arrow Public Schools (BAPS) initiated a Partners in Education program to team community businesses and organizations with school sites in a mutually-beneficial, cooperative program.
The PIE program supports collaborative efforts that promote the mission of Broken Arrow Public Schools – to educate, equip and empower a community of learners by providing dynamic learning opportunities which enable all students to be successful. In recent years, BAPS has focused efforts on 100% Literacy – 100% Engagement – 100% Graduation.
Businesses and organizations from the community can connect to schools in a variety of ways and create a tremendous, positive impact on Broken Arrow students. The program promotes a school culture in which students attend regularly, become knowledgeable about career opportunities in their community, develop a sense of responsibility for their community, and are motivated to engage with their education and community.
Each year, we look forward to all the amazing activities and resources that our Partners provide for their schools. The program is very flexible, and businesses are only encouraged to do what they are comfortable and interested in doing. We are always excited to welcome new Partners into the program!
