Strength & Conditioning Program
|
THE TIGER WAY Broken Arrow athletics have seen new levels of success with the addition of Director of Strength & Conditioning, Mike Wojciechowski. Our athletes have been re-tooled for speed through strength.
RESEARCH Coach Wojciechowski never stops investigating new methods of training. Research is at the heart of the Broken Arrow conditioning program. “Research is vital to any sound strength & conditioning program,” said Coach Wojo. “Studies are being done every day, and it’s an ever changing process. The more research we have, the more we can move forward as an athletic department. There are many elements of conditioning that we consider: nutrition, flexibility, advanced rehab, and pre-hab.”
METHODOLOGY Broken Arrow’s conditioning programs are based on sport, position, and individuals. Body movements and biomechanics of each sport and individual position will be considered when generating programs. An emphasis will always be placed on speed and explosiveness.

DON'T BE AVERAGE Making the best athletes... better! Mediocrity. The best of the worst and the worst of the best. Not where any athlete should want to be. Competition is the driving force among championship people and championship teams; both on and off the field or court. My job is simple: instill a winning edge both physically and mentally in every student-athlete at Broken Arrow High School. As a Broken Arrow Tiger, you must commit yourself both physically and mentally in all phases of training to become a better athlete and better team. Our goals will only be achieved through working as one functional unit in all operations of the program. Make the commitment and conquer each training session as you would your opponent...and the scoreboard will always remember. Expect championships! - Coach Wojo
