Richard Dale has worked in education since 1984. He started his career teaching band, choir and elementary music in the Tonkawa Public School System for five years. He continued as a band director, assistant principal and later principal with Ponca City Public School’s for eleven years. Richard has been principal at South Intermediate High School since 2000. Richard graduated from Coweta High School in 1979 and continued his education at Oklahoma State University earning a Bachelors of Music Education Degree. Richard went on to earn a Masters of Science degree (1994) and a Doctorate of Education degree (2004) from Oklahoma State University. Richard is a member of the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP), the Cooperative Council of Oklahoma School Administrators (CCOSA), and the Oklahoma Parent Teacher Association (OKPTA). |
 Amy Gann, Assistant PrincipalE-mail Ms. Gann Amy Gann is a McAlester High school graduate. She earned both her Bachelors and Masters degrees from East Central University. She taught ninth and tenth grade English at Savanna High School for eight years. In 2002, Gann moved to Texas where she was a school counselor in Frisco for five years. In 2006, she and her family and returned to Oklahoma where she was hired as a counselor at SIHS. After one year, she moved into an Assistant Principal’s position where she continues to serve South students. |

Sarah Gooldy began her career in education in 2005 after earning a Bachelor's in Secondary English Education from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah. She then began teaching English at Tahlequah High School for three years before moving to Oklahoma City where she taught English I and English III at Putnam City High School. At North Intermediate High School, Sarah taught Pre AP English I, English I, English II, and Creative Writing; she was also a co-sponsor of the Friends of Rachel group. |

Coming from a family of educators, Schwab is a true Broken Arrow Tiger, having been born in BA and attended schools as a “lifer” from K-12. Schwab attended Oklahoma Baptist University, and then Oklahoma State University to obtain a BS in Language Arts, with a Minor in Political Science. He began his career in 1987 at Catoosa High School, then transferred back home to BA schools in 1990. After teaching English, Government, and Leadership while serving in various Student Leadership roles at the HS, Schwab completed his Master’s Public School Administration at NSU-BA in 2010. He has since served as an Assistant Principal at the HS and as the Principal for BA Virtual School, the online program for Night and Summer classes. He is also a member of COOSA and OASC. |
