Teacher Training
Broken Arrow Schools has a high retention rate for AP teachers and classes. The success stems from Board and community support.
Broken Arrow AP teachers participate and consult in the Southwest Regional subject conferences during the academic year. They attend summer institutes to learn improved techniques and new procedures.
Since the summer of 1988, the Board of Education has funded training for Advanced Placement teachers on a rotating cycle. These teachers have enriched their students by participating in concentrated course work with colleagues at colleges and universities.
