LaQuisha Jackson earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Family and Consumer Sciences from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She has an Associate of Arts Degree in Fashion Merchandising and an Associate of Arts Degree in Child Development. This is her 4th year with Broken Arrow School District and has 3 years teaching experience from Muskogee Public Schools District. Previous to teaching, LaQuisha has 11 years of experience working with children and teens in a variety of settings including summer activity camps, at- risk youth programs, tutoring services, and a home daycare facility for several years. She has been happily married for 16 years and has two beautiful daughters; who are enjoying being Broken Arrow students.
At the Margaret Hudson Program, LaQuisha teaches Family and Consumer Sciences, Marriage and Family, Early Care Professionals, Parenting and Child Development, Surviving and Thriving, Food Preparation and Nutrition, Chemistry of Foods, and Nutrition for Wellness.
She is excited to be a part of such an awesome program and eager to make a positive impact on the students in her classes.
