 Larry Smith, PrincipalE-mail Mr. Smith Larry Smith first and foremost is a 1977 graduate of Broken Arrow High School. After graduating from high school he attended The University of Oklahoma and graduated in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. He began his career as a Physical Educator for 5 years at Parklane Elementary and then was encouraged to pursue his master’s degree in administration. Upon completion of his master’s degree, Larry began his administrative career at Westwood Elementary. He served as intern principal at Westwood for one year and then started honing his skills as an administrator in the role of assistant principal at Parklane Elementary, Arrow Springs Elementary, Vandever Elementary, and Leisure Park Elementary. Larry then became the principal at Arrow Springs Elementary and served as principal for 13 years. He currently serves as principal of Indian Springs Elementary where he has been for 6 years. Larry has been an educator in Broken Arrow for 29 years. Larry is married to Robin Smith who is the Business Administrator for Cedar Ridge Christian Church, and has two children Kayci and Nathan, and one granddaughter Hallie. |
