SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS:

Reservations for workshops are required.  

There is a $45.00 (Cash only, NON-REFUNDABLE) fee due at the time of registration.  Applicants will be provided with a letter to present to the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office for fingerprinting after registering in person and payment of the $45.00 background check fee.  Applicants will also receive the initial application packet with instructions for paperwork completion prior the workshop.  

Applicants must be fingerprinted for a national background check as required by Oklahoma State law. Individuals who have completed a background check in other district within the past 12 months should notify the Receptionist prior to registration and payment.  Effective July 1, 2010, Oklahoma school districts are required by law to send fingerprint cards for each new employee to the Oklahoma State Department of Education as part of the required background check process. 

Applicants must bring the entire completed application packet with required items (including fingerprint card) to the registered workshop.

Registration for workshops is only available at the Human Resources Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. 

Attend a district Workshop.  Workshops last approximately 4 hours; please make plans accordingly.  Reservations are required and must be made in advance and in person at the Reception Desk at the ESC/PAC (See Step above).  Workshops begins promptly at the designated time. Upon late arrival, substitute will be asked to attend the next available workshop. Workshops are held at the Education Service Center/Performing Arts Center located at 701 S. Main Street, Broken Arrow, OK 74012.  918-259-5700.
