Charles N. Haskell Middle School was named after Oklahoma's first state governor, who was born in 1860 in Ohio. He was a lawyer and oil entrepreneur, and served as governor from 1907 until 1911. Governor Haskell died in 1933 in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
Haskell Middle School opened in 1959 as an elementary school. In 1977, Haskell converted to a middle school containing grades sixth through eighth. Today, Haskell Middle School is home to 859 students and 90 faculty and staff.
At Haskell, our formal vision reads, “We will create, promote and sustain a culture for life-long learning and productive citizenship throughout our school community.” However, our vision can be summed up in four words: Learning happens; and Character counts!

Mickey Replogle is a graduate of Catoosa High School. He earned his bachelor of science degree in Science Education and master’s degree in School Administration from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah. This will be his second year with Broken Arrow Public Schools, transferring from the Wichita Public School district. Mr. Replogle has 18 years experience in education. "I am excited about this school year. The students and staff at Haskell Middle School make everyday a Great Day to be a Tiger!" |

Stacy Bingman is a graduate of Cascia Hall Preparatory High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University of Oklahoma in Norman. She holds a M. Ed in Administration from Texas A&M University-Commerce. Ms. Bingman started her career teaching in the Dallas Independent School District. Prior to moving back to Tulsa, she work for the Canyons School District in Sandy, UT as a Title I, Native American and Migrant program administrator. She is coming to Haskell from Jenks Public Schools, where she was a building Principal. She is excited to be a Tiger where Learning Happens and Character Counts! |

Mr. Curtis Green has been in education since 1989 with more than 15 years of experience at Broken Arrow Public Schools. Mr. Green began his education career as a science teacher for Union Public Schools. In 1996, he started his administrative career at Broken Arrow Public Schools, where he has held various administrative roles, including Director of Student Services and Executive Director of Administrative Services. He currently serves as an assistant principal at Haskell Middle School. After graduating from Broken Arrow Senior High School in 1984, Mr. Green received his Bachelor of Science in Education (1988) from the University of Oklahoma and his Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction (1993) from Oklahoma State University. Mr. Green is a member of the Cooperative Council of Oklahoma School Administrators (CCOSA), Leadership Broken Arrow (class of 2010), and serves on the Board of Directors of the Gatesway Foundation. |
