BAPS doing “More for Moore”
Led by the students of Broken Arrow Senior High, the Broken Arrow Public School district is undertaking an effort to do “More for Moore.” By collecting toiletry items and supplies as well as monetary donations, the students of Broken Arrow intend to let the citizens of Moore know that BA cares.
“We are fortunate to have been spared the devastation that our friends and neighbors in Moore are currently dealing with, and I am so proud of our students who are leading this effort to positively impact the people of Moore,” said Superintendent Dr. Jarod Mendenhall. “These students have organized themselves well, and have devised a plan in which every student – from Pre-K to the Senior High – can participate.” . . . Proficiency Based Promotion (PBP) is a process which awards credit for students’ knowledge in the core curriculum areas, i. e., social studies, reading/language arts, foreign languages, mathematics, and science, through an assessment process.
